About
Dr. Corado is an Infectious Disease Physician who primary focuses on the care of people living with HIV (PLWH). In her clinical role, she is the director of the Tom Kay Clinic at Long Beach Comprehensive Health Center, where approximately 200 PLWH receive primary care services. Dr. Corado also supervises providers and trainees at the Harbor-UCLA Positive Care Clinic, as well as provides inpatient consultation services. She is active in teaching trainees, working with the community to deliver talks in Spanish, as well as ensuring the recruitment of diverse faculty and trainees to the DHS system.
Research Interests
Research has focused primarily on adherence to clinic and medications in PLWH, as well as uptake of Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis for HIV in at-risk communities. She has also completed several COVID-19 related clinical trials, including ACTIV-2, studying effectiveness of monoclonal antibodies for the treatment of patients with COVID-19 in the outpatient setting.
